It’s so long since i blogged about Pets Villa and Ah beng. Last 2 weeks reservist, so i gotta spend my weekdays doing my outstanding work which didnt quite work out altogether… :p

Ah Beng, my current favourite dog at Pets Villa

Ah Beng at the top of the A-frame.

And down…

Ah Beng after the hoop. It didnt always go thru the hoop as when i directed him, but better than last time.

Same with this obstacle, but also doing better. I just need to keep trying.

Btw, he can easily jump cross over small bar and go thru the short “tunnel”. He’s still not very good at jumping over the higher wall, but making improvements. Good Good!!!

There’s a game in the early afternoon competing for the fastest dog going thru the obstacle, but we didnt win though, gotta try harder next time and beat the golden retrievers and poodles, haha.

Anyway, i noticed ah beng isn’t eating, bought him ceasar he also cannot finish. After consulting Mohan and tried very hard to plug a thermometer at his anus (oh my!), we discovered he’s a bit fever - 39.3 degrees. Hmm… hopefully cos not because of the fright he got when we want to get his temperature, haha. Anyway, he’s under good care.

So then i brought Titan out!

He’s a trained dog, ok! Can respond to “Sit” without me pressing his butt down.

He’s better at the A-frame than ah beng.

Met Yellow at the dog run in the later part of the afternoon for games. Too bad, it started to rain just before titan’s turn. Too bad!

Got a nice photo of Yellow from E.

btw, there’s a really cute baby golden retriever at the dog run! Many people were so fascinated with it! haha

We also got a cute puppy at Pets Villa!

His name is Milo. He’s for adoption, anyone wants it? Btw, it’s expected to grow quite big hor!

Nicest and most relaxing place on a sunday!

This is the tower where i started my internship 1 week ago, it’s a bank btw. Nice place to work, that’s the kind of place i would want to be. In the centre of the city. Though i haven’t really got anything substantial yet, but i know i would.

I noticed something quite odd though. There’s a temple sitting right in the centre of this CBD area. Is that wasting of precious land? haha. It must be quite powerful to be able to continue sitting there.

I love this view! Makes me feel good and it’s now within a few steps from the building where i am working now. Gotta enjoy my executive lifestyle! Think i’ll go get a gym/yoga membership for a start! Hmm!

Yes you have not heard wrongly, Old Airport Road Hawker Center is back after undergoing one year plus of renovation.
I went there on the 1st July 07 which is also the first day they reopen the hawker center.
Maybe both the newspaper and the news report mention the opening of Old Airport Road Hawker Center, it really attracts tons of people coming here for dinner.

Car park was full and I had to parked on neighborhood carpak nearby and walked there to have my dinner.
The whole place is repainted and the tables & chairs are replaced by better ones. It looks cleaner but i think it is still as stuffy as before.
They did increase the seating capacity by putting more tables and chairs in the open area.

This Lao Fu Zi Fried Kway Teow is a must eat when you come to Old Airport Road Hawker Center, it has been here before the renovation and take a look at the queue.
You will know how popular it is. My mum queued for almost 30-45 mins for 2 plates of Fried Kway Teow.

Finally the Fried Kway Teow is here, the reason why there is such a long queue is because the boss insist on cooking these kway teow plate by plate. By the way, each plate cost $3 and $4 for a larger plate.
This is to maintain the quality of his fried kway teow, definitely it taste better than who cook in bulk.
The fried kway teow is very juicy unlike other stalls who cook until very dry. It hard to find such nice Fried Kway Teow in Singapore le.

Written by YC :

This is the second rehersal for the NDP and I manage to get the tickets to catch this preview. Quite excited and looking forward to this NDP preview. This is the first time National Day is held on a water stage and this is the WORLD’s largest performing stage on water.

I am very lucky to be seated in the yellow zone. It is the second best seatings for the preview. I must say that the stage background is very beautiful. CBD area is just behind the stage with Fullerton Hotel and Merlion just beside the stage only.

Here comes the ‘Flying Singaporean’
For this rehersal the landing for parachute are perfect! And they performed twice for NDP 07, there will be another landing later in the show. The marching in of the troops are as usual the same for every NDP.

Troops Marching into the Stage

Is this the biggest Singapore Flag??
