This is my first attempt to cook something decent (as in not instant noodles, or fry eggs) in hall. Got my inspirations from my roomie, when i see how he fried noodles 2 days ago. Ever wanted to tried doing it myself since then. I even bought a bottle of dark soya sauce just now. And oh no, i forgot the garlic! Well, nvm.

Ingredients : Instant Noodles (without the seasoning), 1 egg, 1 piece of luncheon meat, i piece of bacon, 2 crab sticks, 1 small tomato, 2 tablespoon worth of peas, and a bit of dark soya sauce, that’s it!

First and foremost, soak the dry hard instant noodles in hot water to soften it.
Then cut the meat to smaller pieces.

Then the veggies and crab sticks also….

When the noodles are soft enough for frying, drain away the water.

Fry the egg first, reason being the wok will not be too clean after frying the noodles.

Remove the egg and add in the bacon and luncheon meat into the hot oil.

I used them to hopefully produce similar effects as with garlic, giving some nice fragrance to the oil to fry the noodles. That’s my theory, i don’t know if it’s correct or not though.

Next, add in the veggies and crab stick.

Aga aga fry until the tomatos go out of shape……

All these while, keep the fire at medium or small level so that it’s more healthy and it won’t get “chau tah”.

Add in the noodles….

And keep on stiring and moving the ladle like what a chef would do…..

Can also try to shake the wok and act like a chef…. Add in the soya sauce, amount …. aga aga

Keep on stiring until the colour is uniform. Add a bit of water, so that the noodles will not be too dry.
And it looks more professional with steam coming out of the wok :p

Fry until the fragrance of the noodles is all over the kitchen…..

Remove the noodles from the wok, and try to reheat the egg a bit. But don’t destroy the shape of the egg like what i did…. remember to add oil. Eggs are sticky on woks.

Tada!!! Looks good right?

Yan can cook, so can Dennis!!! Hahahahaha

Oh, i just remembered this is actually the 2nd time i tried to cook something decent, the first time is at home and it is disastrous!!! see this -> http://takeuaway.wordpress.com/2006/08/01/bad-cooking-experience/
