Pet Villa again July 15, 2006

Hey, yes! I’m backed at pet villa again.

I always like to be there. Far from the hectic urban lifestyle, it’s a place where i can get back into nature, and also, to the company of man’s best friends. There, i don’t need to worry about all the problems i used to be in, rather, i’d have a totally different set of ermm…. shall i say primitive problems? No lar, i think not, just that i still have not get used to it.
I’d worry that the dogs will try to run out of the gates when i open the doors not careful enough, that they will get too intimate with me and play bite with me, licking me non-stop, bite me, jump on me on their front paws, etc. Haha, i’ll get used to it soon, i promise.
There was this new dog over there, and it is in a pretty bad shape.

As according to Cathy, it met with an accident, leaving it in its current circumstances, and was thus abandoned by the owner cause of that. It got bruises all over the body, it’s so under-nutritioned that its ribs are clearly in sight, and worse, it lost an eye. And it’s limping around, dragging its broken leg in pain…..
Side track a bit, it reminded me of sy rogers words - “you don’t need to be perfect for me to love you”, suddenly remembered the story of his daughter and her doll. But it seems that nowadays people love perfection. Although many claimed not of that, even in their actions, but it is not on all occasions. They are selective, and are usually more tolerant when those circumstances met the condolescence of others too. Not much to self conviction, but more of image in other people’s eyes. I despised it! It’s so difficult to find God’s agape love, I could hardly see any, but those prescribed-agape love are just always around me, making me sick.
Back to pet villa, there is this cute little doggie hiding behind the chair.

It seems to be shaved off its coat, probably due to some infection or due for vaccination.
We took happy out for a walk again, but this time, there isn’t a dog collar for her, so cathy suggests to loop it just using the leash. It doesn’t seem to be too good an idea after i walked her out, she’s too active and walking too fast, making the leash choking her tightly. It took me some time before i can pacify her down. Hey hey, made some improvements today, trained happy to sit down on my command, though she doesnt obey it always, haha. And she’s walking beside me on my way back! Haha, but maybe she knew it would be too choking for her if she were to walk faster, cos she’s got no collar today. Haha, nevermind.

Another dog seems to be much more older than happy. She doesn’t prefer to run or walk fast, really not much strength needed to bring her out, unlike happy. Once, she was almost too lazy to walk and rest by the side of the road, eating grass.

Hey, that’s me and happy! Too bad today i need to be down at orchard by 6.30pm to collect the sponsored coupons, so i left with no time for the cats. Anyway, i’m going back there again tmr, hehe.
