Today i went to Shuxian's house straight away after CG. Took around 1 hour to reach there from Marine Parade, luckily i still got the chance to take a nap on the train, as usual :p. Was more than 1 hour late, but i'm still not the latest, hee.
Before getting up the lift, met Weirong, who just went down because he couldn't find the way. When i reached, shujuan, wenchen, xiangri, daniel. tongde, etc were there already. A while more, jiajun arrived with his beau. So long never see, haha. It's always only on CNY will i have the chance to meet up with the old SP CLS people.
We had steamboat at around 3pm, quite late huh? We don't have all the expensive, exotic stuff, just the normal few dishes, but it suits my taste better, hee. Personally, i liked the cheesy fishcake best. Thought of buying it for instant noodles next time :p. Well, before we finished everything, xiangri and his guys had to rush for their jamming sessions, so left the few of us to finish up the food. Afterwhich, we had some sing-along sessions on last time CLS nolstagia songs. Haha, it's being quite a while since i last sang the songs. So long never heard so many beautiful voices singing in group le, haha. These are the songs i can remember every single lyrics last time when i was still in CLS, but now, i almost even forgot their melody. Gu Xiang De Lao Jiu, Hong Tai Yan, Wo Yong Ying Yue Lai Shuo Hua, Bo Li Yu, etc…. Good thing Wenchen bought his guitar along. He was still so ever "Xin Yao", hahaha….
After that, we rest and talk a bit, and guess what, it's mahjong time!!! Haha, finally get to play mahjong at last, for this cny. But i din managed to persuade them not to play money. In the end, i end up teaming with Shuxian and Weirong. Haha, and we only play 10/20 cents. But still it;s the first time i'm playing money on anything. Oops!! What will Jo say? Haha. No lah, i have no intention to gamble, i actually intend to fellowship only, don't spoilsport, and bless people. That's all, truthfully, i intended to lose. Played for around 45mins or so, then Weirong and jiajun had to leave already, so left the 4 of us – Me, Shuxian, Shujuan and Wenchen. Won $1.70 total as for now. But then, i tried to convince them not to play money but failed again. Too bad, just now i win them money, pai seh not to let them win back. Not to say i want to gamble hor. I only intend to BLESS…. Really, i did remember the 1st of the four steps of Jesus way to evangelism. That's my sole purpose, truthfully.
So we played again, we four. Now, no more help from Shuxian to tell me which tile to throw le :p. And…..? It's around 6.30pm, i should be going back to NTU, cos i'm supposed to have Geyong rehearsal. But, it's only once a year for me to meet Shuxian they all, so……. i decided to stay on. We played until around 9+. At first, i lost 2 big one twice. I threw the tiles letting people to win. It's 2x $1.60. Plus Shuxian and esp Shujuan has being "Gung"ing for many times. Nevermind, i only intend to bless, ok. But then, i began to win a few small small "Tai". Ard 3 or 4 matches. Then i won one big one – "Zi Mo plus Ping Hu". It's $1.60 each person…. Pai seh… :p. Then lose another 2 small "Tai" later. In the end, my intention of blessing make me win another $5.60. Ooops….!! Actually i got the thought of not collecting the money, but then, i think it's not very nice, since it's only very little money. Sounded like very "de de de…." – i don't know how to say.
Then, me, Shuxian and Wenchen went to the coffeeshop at CCK central for dinner. It's being so long since i visit that coffeeshop after i ORDed, haha. Then, i finally get a chance to really bless people. Wenchen say he's looking for jobs now, so i gave him the church's classified Ads. Better than nothing :p. I think it can be counted lah. After chatting with them for a while, we each go back our own ways le. Shared cab with Wenchen since we're going the same way. Right, so tat's all for today. I don't know when is the next time i'll see them again, maybe next year cny? Or maybe sooner, i wished.
Saturday Duty February 5, 2006

Today was quite sick actually. Downed with a bad sorethroat, flu and a slight fever (the day before). I actually intended not to go for support duty, but then somehow, i still decided to go, just a bit later.
I reached Expo at 11.35am. Man, i was stunned by the size of the delirious stocks and our own replenish stocks at the side. Well, not as much as during Joyce Meyers that time, that was really mad…. Hee, i'm not feeling very well today, and i still got to take care of the systems, shelves, lighting, cabling, etc. So? I decided to not to lay my fingers on the piles of boxes lying over there, just leave it to Cherry and her retail people :p. Anyway, i can't be managing so many things at the same time. So, i jus go and finish up whatever i'm supposed to do. I made sure the systems are up, opened the shelves, lighted them up, replenish some stocks, did some cabling for the extension power supply for the CD tester, fixed the plug, ……
Quite seh……. coughing a bit, sweating a lot. Then Susanna asked me to double up as retail after service, cos she got people going off. Alright. Then it's time for service. At first, i can't quite get used to Delirious? for the praise and worship. Cos, usually the singing part is very intensive. But they got quite a few "breaks" in between. Breaks for instrument, changing songs (yes, it's a bit not very fast as compared to usual), pauses in the song for their style. After the praise and worship, we got the annoncement in video!!!! Haha, first time leh. The part bro Robin gave the bookstore's announcement is really quite funny…… HAHA….. i wanted to laugh all along when his face shot up in the bid screen. Very funny, but i don't really know why :p. One thing that never fails me is really Pst Kong's preaching. You'll never get bored listening to his words, he have a way with jokes and examples and a sort of "storytelling" way to keep his listeners attracted to him. The praise and worship session after the preaching somehow made me appreciate Delrious? more. I liked the song "Paint the Town Red" and of course "Rain Down". The drummer is power – he looks like some bike racer on heroin :p, looks like only hor, i din say anything else. His drumming is really power. He's quite tall, and he looks a bit hunched behind the drums. The bassist is a coolman. He's standing all the way on the same spot with his legs wide apart, and his electric bass hanging low at his thigh area. As far as from what i see, he almost never moved an inched from his position. All the while, his pattern always the same, tat's y he looks so cool.
Well, after service, i go back to help susanna for retail. I stand guard at the bibles section, and once in a while, susanna came to talk to me, telling me i looked very seh, saying she like can push me down with one finger. Haha, actually, i felt much better after service, don't know y she say i looked so seh. Hahaha……nvm. After closing, surprisingly, clarice say sis faith goh is inviting us to go her place for steamboat!!! Huh??? at this hour? steamboat??? Ok, since Alvin is going, i also go lor. Hee…….got lift :p.
There's really a lot of food for the steamboat, even though jierui, ruth, they all came one batch before us to clear up some part. And the cooked food is really good, got KFC chicken somemore. Well, i know i shouldn't be eating all the nuggets, chicken wings, but…..heee…..nevermind lah huh…… *cough cough…… finally, i'm the first to hang up the white flag among my batch. Watched a bit of "I not stupid", talked a bit, then i head back home , thanks to Alvin's combi van. Hee…..:D That's all!
