Today is the third day of chinese new year and the end of my holidays. Supposed to meet Rachel and Marc to buy the ingredients for cooking at XiaoHui's house later, but they all fly aeroplane. Ok lah, i didn't dbl confirm with them. Marc tought it's supposed to be 11, cos alvin msg everyone to meet 11am at Yishun mrt. Ok, so i sit down at the side and enjoy the music from my mp3 player. Quite shiok actually, cos i didn't have much time for music lately. It lasted ard 40 minutes until XiaoHui came. Waited a while for Marc, then for a little while more, more people reached. The 5 of us went to cold storage @ Northpoint to get the ingredients for the cooking later.
By the time we reached XiaoHui's house, it's ard 12+ le, with Jinhong and Weijie waiting at her house impatiently. Well, it's a norm for cgm to be late. So don't try to be punctual, haha. We got this new friend called Grace. She bought 4 cans of expensive stuff plus a lot more ingredients. Wah Biang. Ok, start cooking. That's the troublesome part. Haha. She's cooking some soup, and she's always asking ask for help on this and that :p . Managed to "Siam" a lot, haha. Well, my part was easy, i'm cooking Maroroni Cheese. Only 3 things. Cheese, Macoroni and Ham. But then, Jo said must have sauce. hmmmm…… but i remember the one at Kenny Rogers only got cheese leh. Nvm, it's too late to get any sauce now. Anyway, the macoroni taste not bad leh, the cheesy taste is good enough, just that we don't have enough cheese for that whole big packet of macoroni. Mai Hiam still Buay Pai. Only until ard 3pm, then lunch is ready, what a long wait. We got abalone soup, macoroni, curry chicken, sweet and sour pork, chee chiong fun, fried pork (very very salty), you tiao, "butterfly", another dish of pork which i don't know what it's called, bee hoon, barley, etc…. can't remember everything. Was quite sick actually, got a bit of fever, very "seh".
After that, we play blackjack until 6+, quite fun with the new system. Well, that's all. After that i went back hall with all my barang barang. Realised a disadvantage of staying in hall, gotta bring my laptop every friday and sunday, sianz…….. Could have join Alvin they all go city hall if not for my heavy lappie. Well too bad.
claustrophobia January 30, 2006

Haiz, tis days always troubled by claustrophobia. Really can’t stay at home too long. This evening is the worst.
Around 11+ in the morning, me and my family set off for my aunt’s house at Thomson Terrace. It was totally terrible. I really got nothing to do, except counting down time to go off and stare at the fish tank occasionally. Not that i’m not in good terms with my relatives, but really nothing to say, nothing to talk. Painstakingly endured for what seems to be a whole day, i finally “bua tahan”, gave some excuse and went back home myself at ard 1+.
At first i wanted to do my work, really got tons of work left for me to do, and all the date dues are super super near until they are already pressing against my nose le. But my problem sets in again – claustrophobia. Endured for a few minutes on the sofa, then really cannot make it, i go lie on my bed.
Woke up at ard 5+, terrible. Headache, backache, feverish, sore throat and extremely cannot stand it!! Went out to market to buy dinner. Luckily the S11 coffeeshop is open, managed to get some mee pok for dinner. Trying to delay my journey home, i went to Mac to get a chicken burger and a provision shop (yes it’s also open) to get a yoghurt.
After dinner was the worst experience. Headache, feverish and extremely claustrophobic. Buah Tahan, although it’s already 7+, but i just msg people to come out. As expected, no one is available. Too bad, spent the next hour or so struggling on the floor trying to sleep and trying not to sleep. Until now, a bit better, but still quite cannot make it. And i still got a lot of things to do!!!! How???? Tomorrow still need to go XiaoHui’s house…… die

Today is saturday, guess what, no bookstore duty today!!! Finally got one saturday no need to serve, haha. Well, today is CNY eve, hope you know what's CNY.
Went out around 945 to meet the cg for the usual cny eve movie. This time it's Jet Li's Fearless. While on the train, i received a call from XiaoHui asking where am i, and telling me she's waiting alone at the mrt station control. Haha, guess she still don't know the usual standards meeting cgm outside. Well, usually people are late, too bad. Don't try to be punctual, haha.
We're supposed to set off for "Chun Dao Hei Pan", usually it's at esplanade there. But when we reached there, oops, nothing is there. We tried to walk along the Singapore River and what we see is only the usual stalls beside. Then Alvin called, saying Jo they all say nothing at that "Chun Dao Hei Pan", so gather at Marina Square. So off we go.
After collecting the tickets, we played a while at the arcade to spend some time before we can go in. The movie was quite nice, nice skills from Jet Li, ha. They say, it's the first time Jet Li dies in a movie. Usually, no matter how much blows he got, what kind of blows, he still survives.
Well, after the movie is the fun part. We spent some time deciding on where to go and how to go. Waited vainly for the younger guys from Margaret's cg watching "I not stupid too". Then we decided to go the Indian store opposite the "don't know what building", near "Si Ma Lu", that's all i know. The people really know how to do "business". Want to charge us more, then say no more plain prata. Billing also tried to charge us more, but too bad, we ask him to recount, then did we get the correct amount.
After supper, we left the "lao ruo fu ru" to go home, left only me, jinhong, weijie, wendell, rachel, xiaohui and alvin. We intended to go play dota, but too bad, none is opened. We strolled a while along parklane, thinking of where to go. For around 15mins or so, we still can't decide, so we decide to just walk along the road and see where we can stay.
We finally decided to sit down at the Kopi Tiam near the art museum. Watched the "World's Strongest Man" competition showing on the projector screen for a while, then we decided to spend the rest of the time playing bluff. Very fun. We played until 6+, then take cab home. We skipped the Midnight charge but still got the holiday charge, but still, it's much cheaper. Haha. That's all!

After resting for around 1 month, i’ve backed to blogs. My old blog server is always so slow, i decided to have a change. Well, if you haven’t seen it, it’s http://takeuaway.blogspot.com. I’ve just viewed thru a few fren’s blog, and i caught this wordpress from Mel’s blog. Well, guessed i’ve found what i want.
Recently, i was so preoccupied with my overloaded portfolios and work, i never have the time and energy to blog. Look at the list below:

Well, what craziness is this! Right now, i ain’t supposed to be blogging but doing my work. But i don’t care. What a time i can relax a bit, and review the people and incidences circling my life for this past month. One word came to my mind – the one used most often in Ecclesiastes. Right now, i just wish i can go Wala Wala tomorrow, have some beer and enjoy the band. Too bad, Jo wants to give my bible study tomorrow. If only she cancels it…. Not that i don’t want to go for bible study, but i really find it no point rushing there, then she rush through the chapter because she has another class waiting.
Nothing much to say le. The radio is playing Michelle Branch’s “All you wanted”, i like that song….
